Comicpalooza was a blast! I didn't take nearly as many photos as I'd have liked, however what I did catch I am pretty proud of! It was so much fun seeing comic nerds everywhere and spending some quality time with my kid brother. =)

I've been having a dry spell for what seems like forever. I had nothing to shoot and nothing to edit. Luckily, the holidays always present something interesting. I didn't capture hundreds of family gathering shots, no dinner table photos, no new babies or mommies to be. I did capture some great nature shots at my boyfriend's parent's property and I also had a BLAST taking photos of AutoRama as they came to Houston this weekend. So expect lots of macro flowers and hot rods!!! -Ashley

So on Friday I am actually taking a day off my nanny job for a shoot!! I am too excited! I'm doing a small scale courthouse wedding but that is more than ok! I'm just starting out and I'll take any practice I can get! I'm also getting paid for it. First ever paid shoot. Oh my goodness I'm jumping out of my skin. Be on the lookout guys. =D OH OH and I can't forget to mention Batman Live!!! I'll be sitting in the theater watching his crazy antics this time next Saturday. I will definitely have photos of that too!
